After 55 years of playing golf, on June 16, 2006, I got my first hole-in-one!  I attribute my good fortune to Kareem Samhouri of Global Fitness, LLC. It was Kareem that helped me take control of my health and he helped me stretch and strengthen all of my muscles, especially the muscles needed for the game of golf.  He also helped me to develop exercises to increase my balance, especially as needed in a golf swing.  The hole-in-one came after 8 weeks of working with Kareem.  I also eagled a par 4 in August and missed another hole-in-one by less than 1/4 of an inch in July. But the real impact of my workouts with Kareem is the improvement in the status of my overall health. I've never felt better and plan to continue working out every day."

"Prior to training, brushing my teeth upon waking was an ordeal.":

"On November 30, 2005, I had to undergo a lumbar discectomy, due to a herniated disc. During the summer of 2005, I began having pain that radiated from my buttocks down my right leg. Treatment and medications did not alleviate my symptoms. The pain impeded me greatly. I was unable to exercise for a long time. Since treatment and medication did not alleviate my symptoms, I was forced to go through with the surgery. Following my surgery, the pain was gone, however, my lower back and hamstrings were VERY tight, rigid and sore. Additionally, I lost ALL of my strength. I felt extremely weak. I began a course of physical therapy which helped me somewhat with the tight/rigid feeling. However, it was not until I started training with Kareem Samhouri that I noticed a dramatic change. As the training progressed, so did my flexibility and strength. The more I trained, the more flexibility and strength I gained. Prior to the training, brushing my teeth upon waking was an ordeal. I could barely lean forward. Once I started training, slowly, but surely, everything changed. I got a great percentage of my flexibility back and my strength. I also learned that tasks I thought would be impossible after my surgery, were not impossible. Kareem taught me how to use my core and buttocks to allow me to lift/carry things, perform different tasks and to maintain me injury free. Oh, and as an added bonus, my body changed. I started to look much more fit and trim. I am very thankful for this experience and strongly recommend it to anyone looking to physically rehabilitate or just plain get in shape. Thanks Kareem!!!!! Dr. K Appears for Lunch & Learn Seminar

 

 

 

Dr. Kareem Samhouri came out to our company for a Lunch & Learn Seminar on September 19, 2007. Using a video presentation and personal examples of demonstrating proper form for exercises, a group of 13 from Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc. were instructed about what the right kind of exercise could do for us. Most of us are looking to loose weight, increase metabolism and decrease body fat. By way of a lecture along with a question and answer session we learned many helpful facts about improving our exercise programs and eating right. His program of “Boot Camp” really interested us. Getting together as a group broken up into different work- stations to exercise sounds like great fun but also very challenging. This would be a great way to achieve our goals.
